Invictus Academy is now offering an Online Learning Platform to meet the needs of families looking for age-appropriate curriculum for nonspeaking or minimally individuals of all ages!  Our courses are specifically modified to meet the communication and motor needs of students who type or spell for communication. Is your student new to spelling for communication? Our curriculum is formatted to support students from the beginning of their spelling journey to those who are fluent spellers. Our program mirrors what is being taught in our on-campus classrooms while providing activities for students to do at home.

No prep work required

• There are countless options for online learning but nearly all of them require hours of prep work weekly to modify the assignments into a typing or spelling for communication format.
• With our learning platform, communication partners can focus their time on the spelling and motor goals of the student instead of utilizing those precious hours adapting curriculum.

Accessible to all levels of communication

• Invictus Online makes the curriculum accessible for all levels of spelling acquisition from new spellers to fluent, open spellers by providing multiple levels of questions for each academic lecture. Our lessons include spell-only questions all the way up to fully open responses. Every student can be successful with our program.

Communication Skill-Building

• One of the best ways to gain spelling for communication skills is to work regularly on academic lessons. With our online program, the academic lessons provide successive content that allows the student to dive deeper and have a much broader understanding of a subject.

High Level of Schedule Flexibility

• With our program, families can choose to sign up for 1 class all the way up to a full course load.
• The lessons are asynchronous which we’ve found to be the best format for students who type or spell for communication. Families have a high level of flexibility for the days when regulation or illness is a challenge. In addition, being able to tailor the school hours to fit your work schedule makes this platform workable for families.

• Invictus Online supports lifetime learning with our platform open to students of all ages. Whether your student is looking for enrichment in a high-interest subject or wanting to complete a high school course of study, we have exactly what you are looking for.
• There is no age limit to learning. Many nonspeaking or minimally speaking adults didn’t have the opportunities to seek an age-appropriate education while they were in school but it’s never too late to begin. We can help you figure out a good place to start with their education.

Supports the Hybrid Model of Education for Local Students

• As our curriculum mirrors what is being taught on-campus, students have the opportunity to attend Invictus Academy in a hybrid model. For many reason students might need to attend a half-day on-campus at school and complete the rest of their courses online. Our school is the only online platform with the option of a hybrid model. Transition to our On-Campus School

• We have many families who are looking to relocate to the Tampa area with a few months to a year. Those students can begin the school year using our Invictus Online Learning Platform so that they are on pace with their future classmates creating a seamless transition to our on-campus academy.
